Moravia to Tower Over London at Localization World June 12-14

Moravia is set to make its mark in London for Localization World, the leading conference for international business, localization and translation professionals. Scheduled for June 12 – 14 at the Novotel London West, Localization World London will bring together professionals from around the world responsible for communicating across the boundaries of language and culture in the global marketplace. The conference will also feature a networking dinner sponsored by Moravia high above the city at Altitude 360° on June 13 from 7 – 9:30 p.m. in the heart of Westminster atop the historic Millbank Tower.
Moravia executives are also scheduled to lead panels and provide presentations throughout the conference, including Kate?ina Jank?, Moravia Co-Founder; Renato Beninatto, Chief Marketing Officer; Katerina Gasova, Linguistic Services Director; Mark Hodgson, European Business Development Director Life Sciences; Libor Safar, Marketing Director; and Pavel Soukenik, Program Director.

On June 13, Gasova will join Microsoft’s Vincent Gadani to present, “How Microsoft's New Voice Drives a Collaborative Approach to Managing Localization.” They will discuss how Microsoft products now use a more personal tone focused on the end user. Though this shift provides many benefits, it also creates significant challenges to ensuring clear translation and linguistic quality. To overcome the challenge, Microsoft has adopted a specific organizational approach with its localization partners.
Later that day, Soukenik will join an industry panel to present, “Why This Shouldn’t Be a One-way Street.” The growing need to keep costs down often strains client/vendor relationships, and this panel will highlight ways to avoid these pitfalls by turning these relationships into true partnerships. Participants will hear thoughts and best practices from both the client and vendor sides.
With more than 25 years of executive-level experience in the localization and translation industry, Beninatto will host the Localization Sales and Marketing Round Table on June 12. Also featuring Anne-Marie Colliander Lind of Inkrea.se Consulting AB and Aki Ito from TOIN Corporation, the expert panel will discuss marketing challenges posed by session attendees and provide them with real-time counsel and potential solutions. The round table is designed as an open consulting platform with experts in sales, sales management, sales training, marketing and public relations.
In addition, Jank? will host a June 14 session that will discuss the unique characteristics and challenges of localizing creative television and digital content for children in 15 European, Middle Eastern and African languages.
During the Life Sciences Business Round Table on June 12, Hodgson and Safar will provide attendees with an introduction to the life sciences market. The discussion will focus on the regional differences between North America, Europe and Asia, and the way companies get their products ready or approved for local markets.
