Localization Lead Ireland

As Localization Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating the daily end-to-end localization production work. You will report directly to a Project Manager, also based in Dublin. You will work closely with our global and virtual production teams to deliver high-quality localized content. You will be expected to carry out assigned tasks in a dynamic environment and under time pressure independently.

Location: Dublin, Ireland
Status: Contract for 1 year with the possibility to prolong

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Cooperates with the project manager and global production team on the technical preparation of the project, its execution and final evaluation
  • Cooperates with the project manager on engineering resources planning, status reporting and solving project issues
  • Assures the engineering work is done correctly, according to the project instructions, per deadlines and quality requirements
  • Analyses and tracks project tasks and deliverables
  • Coordinates the deliveries from the suppliers and monitors their status
  • Suggests and implements project engineering workflow and tools
  • Participates in the implementation of new tools, their testing and evaluation
  • Support in the management of multiple localization projects
  • Analyzing and submitting customer requests in the internal tools
  • Monitoring and controlling projects‘ status
  • Direct contact, related to ongoing projects, with freelance reviewers
  • Ensures final quality checks are performed before delivery to the client
  • Prepares training materials and sessions
  • Identifies risks and inefficiencies in engineering processes and suggests solutions
  • Ad hoc tasks

Education, knowledge, skills and abilities

  • 2+ years of service delivery coordination experience (localization preferred)
  • Accountable, self-driven, have a sense of ownership
  • Organized, efficient, with detail-oriented work habits
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, other languages would be an asset
  • Experience coaching and training internal and external clients
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Apple applications
  • Experience with CAT tools and/or other translation technologies would be an asset
