Test Engineer (Nanjing, China)

Position: Test Engineer
Status: Permament
Location: Nanjing, China
Reporting to: Test Team Lead

Primary duties and responsibilities

• Test a broad range of desktop products, web applications, systems or CAD applications for major software producers
• Monitor assigned defects and provide relevant information required by Software Engineers or Developers
• Utilize advanced processes and latest technologies in carrying out tests, maintaining test scripts, and documenting errors
• Communicate closely and pro-actively with Test Lead, peer Test Engineers, Software Localization Engineers and Test Development Engineers
• Report relevant issues to Test Team Lead and Project Manager

Requirements

• Good English, spoken and written
• Knowledge of Windows (alternatively Mac, Linux) operating systems
• Advanced PC user skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Experience in software testing is an advantage
• Team player
