Localization Engineering Manager (Nanjing, China)
Position: Localization Engineering Manager
Status: One-year contract
Location: Nanjing, China
Reporting to: Project Manager
Responsibilities
- Maximize quality delivery and utilization of his/her team.
- Design, implement, monitor use and update best practice methodologies, tools and processes for his/her team - own Software Localization Engineering processes.
- Support sales team through developing effective production delivery solutions/proposals. Represent the team and service line.
- Regularly monitor external and internal clients' satisfaction with team's results and take improvement actions.
- Oversee recruitment, training, mentoring, performance objective setting and evaluation, personal development and career planning of his/her team.
- Actively participate in Unit (corporate) management (meetings) - provide data, inform, propose innovations, provide constructive feedback.
- Participate in Unit budget creation and compliance.
Qualifications/Skills include
- 2+ years experience in serving demanding Western clients
- Spoken and written business English is a must
- 2+ years experience in management
- Advanced PC user skill (Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project)
- Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills
- Positive, open-minded team player
- University degree
- 2+ years in Software (Localization) Engineer position is a plus
