Localization Engineering Manager (Nanjing, China)

Position: Localization Engineering Manager
Status: One-year contract
Location: Nanjing, China
Reporting to: Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Maximize quality delivery and utilization of his/her team.
• Design, implement, monitor use and update best practice methodologies, tools and processes for his/her team - own Software Localization Engineering processes.
• Support sales team through developing effective production delivery solutions/proposals. Represent the team and service line.
• Regularly monitor external and internal clients' satisfaction with team's results and take improvement actions.
• Oversee recruitment, training, mentoring, performance objective setting and evaluation, personal development and career planning of his/her team.
• Actively participate in Unit (corporate) management (meetings) - provide data, inform, propose innovations, provide constructive feedback.
• Participate in Unit budget creation and compliance.

Qualifications/Skills include

• 2+ years experience in serving demanding Western clients
• Spoken and written business English is a must
• 2+ years experience in management
• Advanced PC user skill (Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project)
• Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills
• Positive, open-minded team player
• University degree
• 2+ years in Software (Localization) Engineer position is a plus
